This Sunday sees our Women’s side in action for their final minor round match of the 2022 Police Credit Union Hills Football League Women’s competition.

In a much anticipated match, the side travels to Balhannah Oval to take on the ladder leading Onkaparinga Valley Bulldogs who are undefeated from their 12 matches. In the previous match up between the sides back in Round 5, the Woods suffered a 52 point defeat with Taylah Jayne booting the only goal of the match for the red and green whilst Simi Dhaliwal, Gretel Ramsey, Claire Collins, Taylah Jayne and Kirsten Priess featured in the better players.

To date in 2022, the Woods currently sit in third position on the ladder with the final round unable to change ladder positions for either of the sides. Blackwood have on average scored 43.36 points per game (PPG) in 2022 compared to the Bulldogs attack who average 68.83 PPG. In defence, the Woods are conceding 18.55 PPG compared to the competition leading Bulldogs of 7.58 PPG.
