Notice of Annual General Meeting (AGM)
Thursday 7th December 2023
7:30 PM
Held at the BFC clubrooms
The Blackwood Football Club AGM will be held on Thursday December 7th. Please arrive at 7:00pm for a 7:30pm sharp start.
All are welcome and it will be great to see as many members there as possible. For the hard-working senior teams, it will be great to see you in the clubrooms after training on Thursday December 7th.
Light snacks and nibbles will be provided.
Some items of the agenda include:
- President’s address
- Election of new committee members. (If you would like to join the committee, we would love to have you but you must complete and lodge the nomination form ASAP and certainly before the AGM)
- The induction of 6 new Life Members
- The presentation of 4 Meritorious Service Awards

We enthusiastically encourage any current BFC members to nominate to become a ‘committee member of the committee management’ on the 2024 BFC Committee. This an excellent opportunity to facilitate positive change in the club, and we value your input.
Nominations will close November 30th – 7 days before the advised AGM date of 2023. Nominations are to be placed in the Ballot Box in the Clubrooms or posted to: PO Box 69, Blackwood SA 5051

Other Vacant positions:
This is a friendly reminder that expressions of interest for positions on the BFC Committee of Management for 2024 are still open and we encourage you to apply!
Whilst all positions are declared vacant at the AGM and nominations are called for to fill the vacancies, the current committee is seeking expressions of interest for roles that are known to become vacant, due to retiring members that are not seeking re-election and for one other position.
These positions are:
Sponsorship Director
Treasurer
Junior Football Director
Vice President
All Committee of Management positions are vital to be filled, as the Club would find it very difficult to continue to provide the structure to enable the Club to be successful and to grow as it has over the past years. There is a 5 Year Plan being developed, which will make it an exciting opportunity to be a part of, in building that success.
