LIFE MEMBERSHIP NOMINATIONS FOR 2023 ARE NOW INVITED
Current and financial members including Life members of the Blackwood Football Club are invited to submit to the Life Membership Committee, a proposal in writing for consideration and discussion for Life Membership, to a member who has given long and continued service to the Club.
As per the BFC Constitution, to be eligible for Life Membership of the Club, a member must have previously been awarded the Meritorious Club Service Award. The member must have given 20 years of service to the Club by demonstrating an exceptional, consistent, and significant contribution to the Club in areas such as coaching, playing, sponsorship, umpiring, committee contribution, leadership and volunteer work.
Please note that nominations do not automatically guarantee an award will be granted. The Life Membership Committee follows up and checks the details against the criteria before submitting recommendation(s) for review and endorsement to the Executive Committee of Management at the next scheduled Committee meeting.
The nominator(s) will be advised in writing of the Committee’s decision, followed by advice in writing to the successful candidate(s). They will be then invited to the Club’s Annual General Meeting where the award will be presented.
