Thank you for your continued support throughout 2025. Your commitment, generosity and passion for the Blackwood Football Club is what allows the Axemen to continue supporting the Club both on and off the field. We are incredibly grateful to each and every one of you.
Axemen membership details for 2026 will be released in the New Year, including information on luncheon dates and costs.
Once again, thank you for being part of the Axemen family. We look forward to another big year of connection, fundraising and football in 2026.

2025 Axemen Report
Firstly, a heartfelt thank you to everyone who attended this year’s (2025) Axemen Luncheons. A record 52 people committed to supporting the Axemen this year. You are the people who make our lunch dates the success they are. Without you, we couldn’t fundraise and support the Club in the way it was always intended.
Being a full member has some distinct advantages. Firstly, it allows you to be a Member of the Blackwood Football Club with full voting rights (after a qualifying period). Secondly, you are able to attend four fabulous luncheons without any further outlay. We encourage everyone to join up and join in!
This year has been a memorable one, with our financial contributions supporting a diverse range of projects within the Club. As with any club or volunteer organisation, there are always unforeseen equipment breakdowns or failures. It has been very satisfying, as a committee on behalf of you, the members, to be able to fill financial gaps that ultimately benefit our Club. Due to cash flow and budgeting constraints, the Club can’t always come up with funds instantly, and this is where Axemen funds have complemented the smooth running of Club activities.
We hope you’ll continue to spread the word about the Axemen and encourage others to attend a lunch, or all four, and join us in our shared goal.
A big thank you to our hardworking committee, who always ensure a well-run lunch experience, and to Dylan Jones for cooking our delicious meals. A huge special thanks to Kris and Belinda Winchester – Springfresh Salads for their continued support with salads and vegetables. Thank you also to all the people and businesses who donated raffle prizes and gifts, and to those who helped out willingly, especially Trevor Prentice and Eric Roberts.
We look forward to a very successful 2026 season and thank you again for your participation this year.
