Matt Golding has signed for the Blackwood Football Club as an A-Grade Assistant coach for Season 2017.
Golding previously played 7 games for the Adelaide Crows and 96 league matches for the Glenelg Football Club.
Over the past three seasons he has been the forward coach of the South Adelaide Football Club under the watch of Brad Gotch and coaching the likes of Brett Eddy who got drafted to the Port Adelaide Football Club this season.
Matt is excited to join the football club, saying “Blackwood is a really strong club, with a good senior list. It has a great senior core complemented by some exciting young players.”
He has known A-Grade coach Damian Salievic for over 20 years saying “to team up with him & help out is ideal.”
He acknowledged the hard work that was done by the group in season 2016 saying that “if we all put in the work success is on the horizon.”
