Round 8 of the Hills Football League sees another major milestone for the Blackwood Football Club. This upcoming round sees Andrew Work play his 200th senior match for the club. Worky has been a loyal club person coming through the junior ranks where he started in the under 14’s back in 2002. He made his senior debut in 2006 whilst in his final year of senior colts kicking a goal in that game.

Since then he has gone onto play 49 A-Grade and 150 B-grade games becoming a reliable defender with a trusty left boot. He has missed very few games of football across his senior career playing at least 18 games in every season since 2007.

Some career highlights for Andrew including playing in 6 grand finals sides in which he has won four premierships. He finished runner up in the 2014 B Grade Best & Fairest count and in his last year in senior colts finished the season with a tally of 99 goals.

Congratulations on joining the 200 club Andrew!
