Meet Alyshia – Our first Under 18 Girls Player

This is Alyshia. The first under 18s Girls player for the Blackwood Football Club. Alyshia was our first under 18s Girls player to sign.

Through Alyshia’s hard work and dedication in getting a Facebook group together in November last year, the Blackwood Football Club have an Under 18s girls team playing in the SAWFL football competition in Season 2017.

She has been training with her team mates, and girls from Under 16s and Under 14s since February. We now have over 50 registered girls for our 3 teams in Season 2017.

If you are interested, or know of any girls aged between 11 and 17 that would be interested in playing Girls Football at the club this year, bring them up to the club on Wednesday nights for training from 5.00 – 6:30pm.

The games will commence on the weekend of the 28th of April, on a Friday night or Sunday.
