It was an historic weekend for the Blackwood Football Club with our Under 18s girls side recording their first victory. Playing against the Golden Grove Football Club at home the girls got off to a great start kicking 2 goals to nothing in the first quarter.

The girls then fought hard to retain the lead over the next two quarters taking an 11 point lead into the final break. With some inspiring words from their coach Luke Gunn the girls ran out the game recording a 19 point victory when the final siren sounded.
