The Blackwood Football Club has made only one change for the top of the table clash this weekend against the Hahndorf Football Club at U-Install-It Kitchens Oval. Returning to the line-up is Lachlan Furness who hasn’t played due to work commitments since Round 6 at Lobethal Oval.
The match also features the 50th senior match for Daniel Benson. Making his senior debut in 2014 whilst still in the Senior Colts, Benson has won 71.4% (35) of the 49 senior matches played. In these games he has kicked 31 goals (0.63 per match) and been named in the best players on 13 occasions (26.5%) of the time.
In the twos, Adam Greaves and Lucas Herbert return after missing last week against Uraidla Districts. The day is set to be a big day at the club with the Axemen’s and Ladies Luncheon.
