The Blackwood Football Club has made three changes to its squad for Round 14 of the Mortgage Choice Hills Football League. In a key match against the Mt Barker Football Club at Able Storage Oval in Mt Barker, the Woods welcome back key players: Scott Bricknell, James Catford and Steve Woods who all missed last weekends 92 point victory over the Lobethal Tigers. The match is set to be called live from Pistols, Goldie and the team from HFL media.

Since 2006, the Woods have played 13 matches at Mt Barker Oval winning 38.5% of the time. This is the third lowest winning percentage of any venue across the HFL with Uraidla (35.3%) and Echunga Oval (28.6%) having lower winning percentages. Across these 13 matches, the Woods have scored an average of 73.0 points for which is 11.5 points less than the average across all ovals (84.5 points). This ranks Mt Barker Oval in 11th position for points scored by Blackwood with Uraidla (68.4), Echunga (63.0) and Mt Pleasant (35.0) having a lower average points for totals.

In the 12 matches the Woods have played in Round 14 since 2006, the Woods have won 58.3% of the time.
