The Blackwood Football Club would like to congratulate our Girls football players who helped the SA team finish in third position at this years Under 15s state carnival. Finishing in top position in their pool with three victories, the team went down to Victoria (1) in the semi-final by 15 points. Backing up on Sunday in the game for Bronze, the team defeated Western Australia by 3 points to claim the Bronze medals.
At the end of the carnival, the All Australian team was announced with Zoe Venning gained being one of five South Australian players to gain selection.
