Tayla Stapledon has been crowned the inaugural Blackwood Football Club Open Women’s Best and Fairest after taking the award out last Friday evenings Medal count at the Belair Hotel.
Attended by over 60 players, partners and families, Stapledon polled a total of 85 votes in 11 games she played. This also included being named best player for the Woods in Round One against Ironbank, Round Two against Nairne and Round Eight against Uraidla Districts. Stapledon finished ahead of Claire Collins and Tia Rowland-Fox in third place.

- Open Women’s Best and Fairest Runner Up – Claire Collins
- Leading Goal Kicker – Brie Medder
- Coaches Award – Kelly Whitehead
- Best Team Player – Alyshia Cock
