Members, players and supporters of the Blackwood Football Club are advised of the passing of life member Garry Bonner.
Garry played 306 matches for the Woods over his career including premierships in 1967, 1968 and 1969 (he was the captain in 1969). The centre half back was awarded the club best-and-fairest in 1967 &1968 and the association medal in 1967. In 1979, he was inducted as a life member of the Blackwood Football Club.
The Blackwood Football Club extends their condolences to Judy, Derek and Kelly and extended family for their loss.
As a mark of respect, all teams will be wearing black arm bands during this weekends matches.
