The 2020 has come to an end for the Blackwood Football Club A Grade side after succumbing to the Hahndorf Football Club by 60 points in Saturday afternoon’s Hills Football League Preliminary Final. The loss ends the season for the Woods having made their way from the Elimination Final.
Speaking after the match, coach Ryan Anderson said he proud of the efforts of the entire playing squad across the whole season, “I am so proud of every single one and everyone who pulled on the red and green in 2020. You put in a mountain of work in the pre-season and maintained those standards through to the final second of today’s game.”
