The Blackwood Football Club is delighted to announce the signing of Evan Johnson for the 2020 season. Johnson joins the Woods having previous played for the Sale City Football Club in the North Gippsland Football Netball League in eastern Victoria.
The 24 year-old midfielder who has 73 A Grade games of experience under his belt where he has kicked 54 goals (0.70 per game) and been named in the best players 18.2 percent of games. He was also apart of the back-to-back premierships which Sale City won during the 2016 and 2017 season.
