Round 7 of the Hills Football League sees us travel to Balhannah Oval to play the Onkaparinga Valley Bulldogs. In an all important match up, the fifth placed Woods will be looking to bounce back from last weekend’s loss against Nairne Bremer with a win against the third placed Bulldogs line up.

History suggests the Woods have a good travelling record over the Onkaparinga Valley side having won the last six matches between the sides at Balhannah Oval and 10 of the last 14 matches at the venue since 2006. Across the last six matches the Woods have kicked a total of 500 points (73.62) with an average winning margin of 28 points. The Woods have kicked over 80 points in four of the six matches whilst the Bulldogs have failed to kick over 64 points in all six matches.

Accuracy in front of goal looms as a significant factor in determining the outcome of this match with the Woods averaging 22.40 shots on goal per match (third in competition) compared to the Bulldogs who are ranked second averaging 23.00 shots with accuracy the major difference between the sides with Blackwood kicking at 42.86% (lowest in competition) compared Onkaparinga Valley who are kicking at 48.70% (fifth in competition).
