Football is back with a bang this weekend as we hit the road to take on the Magpies in Round 10 of the 2021 Police Credit Union Hills Football League.

Following the first round of matches, the Woods have a six-and-three record to sit in third position on the ladder. After the first nine matches, the Woods have the third ranked offence in the competition averaging 75.9 points whilst the defence is ranked second conceding only 66.2 points per match.

In the previous encounter between the sides in Round 1, the Woods had a competitive opening half trailing by 10 points at the main break despite controlling large portions of the game. In the second half the Magpies kicked away to eventually win by 67 points. Joel Aish was the star up forward kicking two goals whilst Oscar Hodge was named best player for the game.
