Blackwood has made five changes to its team for the Round 3 versus Nairne Bremer tomorrow afternoon. Coach Scott Prebble has named Jaxin Faehrmann to make his A Grade debut for the Blackwood Football Club after impressive performances in the B Grade across the opening two matches.

Coach Scott Prebble said he was excited to see what Faehrmann can bring to the match. “Jaxin has stepped up to his first year of Senior football and has impressed across the pre-season and opening two matches. He adds some serious speed and ferocious tackling to the squad. I am looking forward to seeing him out their on Saturday afternoon.”

The Woods also welcome Lachlan Bahnisch, James Hopton, Mark Reynolds and Josh Tainton into the selected squad for the match. The match will mark a milestone for Rhys Sporn playing his 50th A Grade match in the red and green.

In the B Grade, Daniel Lowe has made five changes for the second weekend running with Ryan Anderson, Liam McCarthy, Jackson Ractliffe-Miller, Steve Woods and Nick Work coming into the selected squad. For Anderson and McCarthy it will be their first matches of the season.

The C Grade has named a strong squad of 24 players with Antony Fiala, Jackson Hughes, Matthew Thomas and Liam Wright being selected for the first time this season with Fiala, Hughes and Wright also playing their first senior matches for the Woods.
