The Blackwood Football Club has made one change to its playing squad for this weekends Elimination Final clash against Onkaparinga Valley on Sunday afternoon.
Recalled to the squad for match is Bailey Badcoe who returns having missed the last two rounds against Echunga and Bridgewater-Callington.
Speaking post selection on Thursday evening, coach Scott Prebble said the team was raring to go this weekend.
“We’ve had a good week on the track. Finals football is an exciting time to be apart of, we look forward to representing the red and green guernsey on Sunday.”
“Finals football can be an intense time. We know as a playing group, if we can stay calm, execute our game style for longer than the opposition and capitalise when we have the momentum, anything is possible.”
In the B Grade, Daniel Lowe has named a strong squad for their Qualifying Final match against Mt Barker on Saturday. The side welcomes back Lucas Herbert, James Hopton, Moe Milsom, Mark Reynolds, Zac Town and Zac Venning. A victory for the side will see them move to a semi-final against Hahndorf with the winner to progress straight into the 2021 Hills Football League Grand Final.
In the C Grade, the side has named a strong squad to travel to Plympton to play the Bulldogs in the last round of the season. Coming into the line up for the match are Adam Greaves, Ben Kernich, Daniel Martens, Matt McNaught, Dylan Silvy and Nick Work
