The Blackwood Football Club has named its Under 17.5 Girls team play off for the Division One SANFL Juniors premiership at Thebarton Oval against the Henley Sharks.
The squad is unchanged from last weekend’s preliminary final victory over Golden Grove with the side featuring star forwards Libby Willetts (22 goals) and Piper Khouri (14 goals) whilst four SANFL league players are also set to take to the field: Bella Drew, Charlie Scutchings, Beth Sigley and Lily Whitcombe.
Coach Simon Manser said he was looking forward to the match this weekend. “The girls have been an outstanding team all season. We look forward to taking the field on Sunday in the red and green and coming away with the victory.”
“I hope we can see a large crowd of red and green supporters to help cheer us onwards to victory!”
