The Blackwood Football Club has named three strong line ups for tomorrow’s Senior, Junior and Mini Colts second semi-finals.
The Woods travel to Uraidla Oval looking to secure victory’s in all matches and earn a weeks rest for the scheduled Grand Finals at Nairne Oval on Saturday 17 September
In the Senior Colts, coach Daryl Sowerby has named a near full-strength side for the clash against the Barkeroos. Coming into the selected squad for the match is key position player Patrick Hall who returns from College football and defender Matt Hall who also missed last weekend’s Qualifying Final against Mt Lofty.
Speaking post selection coach Sowerby said the side was looking forward to the challenge this weekend. “There is a massive reward at the end of the match for the side who can secure the victory. We are confident we can be that side.”
For the Junior Colts they have named a squad of 25 players for their clash against Onkaparinga Valley. Coach Adam Whittaker and his group of assistants welcome back Josh Daniell, Harry Lemke, Adam McCluskey, Fraser Morley and Archer Parsons-Smedley into the squad for the match and will be looking for their tenth successive victory.
In the mini coach, Damien Connor has named a squad of 23 players to take on the Hahndorf Magpies from 8.30am at Uraidla Oval.
