Blackwood has made four changes to its squad for its Round 3 clash with Echunga at KX Pilates Blackwood Oval tomorrow afternoon.

Coming off a bye last weekend, the Woods will be searching for a victory against the Demons to keep the momentum building after getting their first victory on the board in Round 2.

Coming into the side is debutant Ben Wender who has stepped into the senior group in 2022 having played in the 2021 Senior Colt premiership. Also named for the match are defenders Matt Waldron and Caleb Dearman whilst midfielder Daniel Benson is named for his first time in 2022.

Senior Coach Scott Prebble said the side was looking to build on last weekend game. “We have had a good week on the training track and are looking to build on our form of last week.”

“The Demons have played some good football in the first two rounds and we look forward to taking them on this Saturday afternoon in front of our loyal supporters and followers.”

For the reserves, Daniel Lowe has had a string of changes to the squad with Brodie Curnow, Patrick Hall, Jackson Hughes, Luke Lewis, Aaron Ramsey, Henry Spurr, Michael Thompson, and Zac Venning selected to play. For Hall, Ramsey and Thompson they are named to make their senior debuts for the club having stepped up from the Under 18s.

In the C Grade, a squad of players for the match against Mt Barker. The match is being held at Summit Park tonight from 7.00pm.
