This Sunday sees our Women’s side face the Hahndorf Football Club in Round 7 of the HFLW competition at KX Pilates Blackwood Oval.
After returning to the winners list last weekend defeating the Nairne Bremer Rams by 29 points, the Woods will be looking to secure back to back victories for the first time since Round 2 2021 and further establish a top three position in the competition.
Opponents, Hahndorf who currently sit in sixth position on the ladder having won two of their five matches are only two points behind the Woods on the ladder. From the five matches played, the Mapgies are averaging 24.8 points in attack (ranked #6) while conceding 31.0 points (ranked #5). Both the Woods and Mapgies has similar defences but the Woods have scored a total of 80 more points across the five games.
