The Blackwood Football Club Women’s side host their last home match of the season facing the Uraidla Districts Demons in Round 9 of the Police Credit Union Hills Football League Women’s competition.
In a Sunday blockbuster, the sides will go head-to-head from 1.30pm at KX Pilates Blackwood Oval. Currently sitting third and fifth positions on the ladder both sides will be looking for the victory with the Woods looking to keep in touch with the top two whilst the Demons will be looking to keep within reach of a top four position.
In the four meetings between the sides in the Women’s competition history, the Woods have recorded a victory on one occasion being the famous 2020 HFLW Grand Final Victory at Balhannah Oval.
