Blackwood has named an extended squad for this weekend’s Women’s match against the Iron Swans (Ironbank-Murraylands Swans) Football Club.
The Woods, who return to one Women’s side for 2022 will be looking to establish a strong start to the season with a victory. Georgina Brooks and Saraid Kustermann have been named to debut in the red and green. Brooks steps up from the junior ranks of the club whilst Kustermann joins the Woods from West Adelaide.
Senior Coach Damien Venning said he was looking forward to getting the season underway. “We have a strong playing squad which are eager to achieve success. We look forward to putting our game into action on the weekend.”
For the Under 17s, coach Simon Manser has named a squad of 21 players with Zoe Dwyer, Scarlett Allan and Piper Khouri playing in the red and green guernsey for the first time.
