The Woods have named a strong extended squad for this weekend’s Women’s match against 2021 premiers Mt Lofty this Sunday at KX Pilates Blackwood Oval.
The Woods will be looking to chalk up win number two against the Devils who also recorded a round 1 victory over Uraidla Districts.
Speaking at selection Thursday evening, assistant Mike Attiwill said the side was looking to put in a strong performance against the reigning premiers. “We had a great start to the season with a victory against the IronSwans. We have trained well during the week and are looking forward to the challenge against the Devils. Lets get a big crowd to support the side.”
For the Under 17s, coach Simon Manser has named a squad of 21 players with Desiree Cooke playing in the red and green guernsey for the first time. The side will be looking to secure victory number two against the Devils with the first bounce from 12.00pm. Before the game, our Under 15s side (coached by Daniel Smith) are playing a trial match against Mt Lofty from 10.00am.
