• This weekend’s C Grade Grand Final will be an extra special game for Patrick Mackay with the match also set to be his 150th senior match in the red and the green.

A junior player at the Woods, Mackay played his first senior game in the then Country Division A Grade side. Playing the opening five matches of the season in that side he kicked six goals before moving back to the reserves where he played the remaining 11 matches. From then on, Mackay has played a mixture of B and C Grade football being a dominate forward in which he has kicked a total of 334 goals (2.24 per match) whilst being named in the better players on 81 occasions (54.4 percent).

He was also a member of the successful 2008 and 2015 C Grade premiership sides where in 2015 he kicked nine goals in the game to help defeated the Milang Panthers by 93 points.
