The Blackwood Football Club is excited to announce Adam Pope as the C Grade coach for Season 2022.
Pope, is a familiar face around the Woods having played 183 games from 2001 to 2015 and coached 95 games from 2013 to 2017. During his stint as a coach, he was the mentor for the C Grade from 2013-2014 and B Grade from 2015-2017 successfully achieving the ultimate prize, a premiership on two occasions: 2013 Grade and 2015 B Grade.
Upon accepting the role, Pope stated he was excited to be coaching at the Woods
“I can’t wait to get back and get stuck in again. I have many very fond memories of coaching the C Grade sides and look forward to fostering that culture of player development but also playing with your mates.”
The C Grade season is scheduled to commence next week with Round 1 against Milang at home.
