The Blackwood Football Club are pleased to announce that Corey Drew and Simon Manser as co-coaches for the Women’s A grade side in Season 2023.
Drew has extensive coaching experience including nine seasons as assistant coach at North Adelaide with the Under 18s and Men’s, including winning a reserves premiership in 2016. He also ran a leadership and mentoring group for North Seniors in 2017 and 2018.
For Manser, he will move up from the Under 17.5 Division 1 team where he lead the team a grand final in 2022.
Upon excepting the position, Manser stated that he was looking forward to getting stuck into the coaching. “I am excited to work with the A grade Women’s group and to work with Corey for Season 2023”.
“We aim start training in early January with the squad an exciting mix of talented youngsters coming up into an experienced A grade squad who were good enough to play off in this years HFL grand final, as well as winning the premiership in 2020.”
